  • I have added your website to my favourites list as I have found it to be extremely interesting. You would be amazed at how much time I spend on Google Maps looking up the things you list.
However, there is one (in my opinion) glaring omission that you have made on your Island Countries You Should Visit and that is New Zealand. I certainly haven’t been to many of the places you do list (I live in Australia and I don’t think that should be there at all!) but New Zealand has, in an area that can be easily visited from end to end in three weeks (longer would be better, of course) the most amazing variety of natural wonders. You can go skiing on the slopes of an active volcano, para-gliding, jet-boating, swimming in thermal hot pools and up the tallest tower in the southern hemisphere all in a single day if you wanted to.

    • Hi David,
Thanks for your comment. New Zealand is an amazing place and the reason it’s not in this list is a technicality – it’s not located on a single island but two islands. 🙂
